Before starting our own business in tourism, we gathered years of experience in different career fields. In recent years, we have dedicated all our energy and will to our tourist accommodation, and strive for satisfied guests.

The decision to work in tourism came quite spontaneously. It was not a childhood wish. After successfully completing my studies and master’s degree in economics, I worked in the field of marketing and sales in various companies and industries for 20 years. However, based on my experience, I have wanted to work in my own company for a long time. I wanted to feel the freedom of taking my own decisions and taking the responsibility for my actions. I made that happen in the spring of 2019.
I started with the first apartment in Ljubljana, within the house where I live. We first renovated the apartment, equipped it according to our taste and modern technical guidelines, and started my new path with the help of knowledge and experience from the past. I created the first websites, designed logos, and ads, and started working in digital marketing and accounting. My knowledge and ingenuity paid off, as I received my first reservation two days after publishing the apartment on the Airbnb platform! It was for the next day and two guests came from Croatia. Before their arrival, my legs were shaking. I explained everything they needed and that was it. In the evening, I exceptionally put the phone on the nightstand, as I wanted to be available in case of questions or possible problems. Since the phone for similar cases has not rung to this day, I seem to have started and continued my work very successfully.

In the following periods, in addition to regular work, it was necessary to consider the expansion of activities. I currently manage three of my own accommodations in two locations. There have been many funny incidents, beautiful acquaintances, and interesting conversations in different languages. Because my guideline is “as good as possible”, no guest wish, question or comment remains unanswered. The most beautiful consequence of such work is the results in the form of good reviews and returning guests.
We do most of the work with my sister. The epidemic period 2020-2021 was quite different. That is why I have digitalized my business as much as possible. Modern technology allows me to make personal contact with the guest upon arrival and departure no longer necessary, although I keep it as far as possible and most of the guests like it this way.
After many years of having a “classic” job, where it was important to achieve the set plans and annual sales growth, today I enjoy my work and live a much better life.

Polona is a fantastic host, very kind and friendly. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had free bikes and it was very easy to reach Ljubljana (only 10 minutes). That is a wonderful city. The apartment is also near the motorways, so it was very simple to visit other cities too. We loved staying in Polona's apartment.

The apartment is also near the motorways, so it was very simple to visit other cities too. We loved staying in Polona's apartment.

A cute little chalet in the middle of nature where in the evening, deer and rabbits show up at the meadow. The chalet is very cosy and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal for excursions all over western Slovenia. The location is very peaceful, near the forest while having all the amenities at a short distance. Excellent value.

The house is very well maintained, clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. The beds were freshly made, clean, spotless and comfortable. There were more than enough fresh towels available. The location is 15 min drive from the city, which we personally liked. We were able to eat undisturbed on the terrace, and every day we could watch rabbits, deer and birds. We could watch German TV and there is a smart door lock system to enter the apartment. The view was beautiful, lots of greenery and quiet. Beside the apartment there is a storage room for bicycles or other things. Everything was just fantastic for us and as soon as we go back to Slovenia - Terme 3000 we will book here again.

I've been to this town a number of times and this is by far the best place I've stayed. I highly recommend visiting Moravske Toplice and if you do, you must stay here because this apartment fits so perfectly with the charm and relaxing atmosphere of the town.
The apartment is new, spacious, nicely furnished and clean. The kitchen with induction, microwave, coffee machine, water heater and oven offers comfort at home. The location is quiet, but in the immediate vicinity of Terme 3000. Great for longer vacations.
