Chalet Zaplana – Sweet Stay Forest House is located in Zaplana above Vrhnika. It is only 25 km away from Ljubljana, so it is an ideal starting point for day trips around Slovenia. From Vrhnika, there is a 7 km asphalt forest road to the chalet Zaplana, which in the warmer part of the year is like a fresh, green tunnel. The last part of the route (approx. 200 m) is macadam, but normally passable by a car.

Polona is a fantastic host, very kind and friendly. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We had free bikes and it was very easy to reach Ljubljana (only 10 minutes). That is a wonderful city. The apartment is also near the motorways, so it was very simple to visit other cities too. We loved staying in Polona's apartment.

The apartment has an elegant and comfortable interior design. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available: washing machine, dishwasher, iron, kettle, and coffee maker, all cutlery. The care of the host is felt in every detail: in the apartments, there is salt, sugar, oil, vinegar, coffee capsules, capsules for the dishwasher and dishwasher, and towels. We were very happy with our stay. We'll be back.

The location is ideal for excursions all over western Slovenia. The location is very peaceful, near the forest while having all the amenities at a short distance. Excellent value.

The house is very well maintained, clean, and smelled fresh when we arrived. The beds were freshly made, clean, spotless, and comfortable. There were more than enough fresh towels available. The location is a 15 min drive from the city, which we personally liked. We were able to eat undisturbed on the terrace, and every day we could watch rabbits, deer, and birds. This is a great environment for children.
